Here are this week's announcements...

Worship:  Join us for worship this morning at 10:45am. There are several ways to connect with us:

  • YouTube: Go to www.youtube.com/smzbcworships and you should see "LIVE" or "LIVE NOW". If you have a Smart TV, or a smart device such as Fire TV stick, Google Chromecast, Apple TV, or Roku device, you should be able to view worship on your TV. 
  • Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sixthmountzion/ - we encourage members to connect with each other on the church's YouTube or Facebook pages...and start a watch party to increase our influence.
  • Periscope: Our user name is "smzbc_rva".  This posts to Twitter when the live video ends.
  • Let us know you are watching by saying "Good Morning"...that's our virtual welcome & fellowship period. We also encourage you to post sermon notes.On Facebook, YouTube, or 
  • Audio Only: Call our conference line (804-203-9011). If you use this option, PLEASE mute your phone.  You may not hear it, but the background noise and feedback is a big distraction to others. 
  • It's Communion Sunday, be sure to have your elements ready. 

Other Announcements

  • Bible Study is Back! Wednesday at 12 PM & 6:30 PM, we'll be studying the Paradoxical Commandments.  Please share with everybody you know.  
  • Quarterly "Virtual" Church Business Meeting: On Monday, July 13th, at 7:00 PM, you are asked to join us on Zoom OR UberConference for very important updates.  
  • Quarantine Check-in Calls:  It is my desire to personally speak to each Mount Member during this time that we are unable to see each other.  So, you may be contacted to schedule a 5-10 minute call or, hopefully starting this week, we'll send out a link for members to choose the time that works best for them. When your meeting is scheduled, we will simply ask you to call our Conference Line number at the appointed time.  If your birthday is between January 1st and June 30th and you HAVE NOT had a quarantine check in call, please click this sentence to schedule one.  This is a new service we're using, so we apologize for kinks in advance.
  • Pray With Us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 AM:  Call 804-203-9011 and MUTE your phone. 
Your Continued Financial Support is Needed. The first part of the year has just ended.  Please check your Giving Statement to see where you are. We will send one electronically, but it is available anytime under "My Giving" in your Tithely profile.  We understand that your financial situation may not allow you to do so at this point. However, if you are able to do so, we encourage you to give whatever you can, whenever you can. We have several options available for you...
  • Drop Off at the Church: Tomorrow from 9:00a - 11:00a OR during Church Office Hours OR Anytime using the mail dropbox,  On Sunday morning, you can bring your tithes and offerings to the church and a Trustee will be present to receive them.  We will also have envelopes available for you to complete to ensure you get proper credit. Just make sure you have your name written on the envelope and what the money is for.
