Worship: This is your personal invitation to join us for worship tomorrow morning at 10:45am. We'll be taking communion during worship. There are several ways to connect with us:
- YouTube: Go to www.youtube.com/smzbcworships and you should see "LIVE" or "LIVE NOW". In speaking with several members, they've let us know they are watching us on their cellphones, tablets, or computers. If you have a Smart TV, or a smart device such as Fire TV stick, Google Chromecast, Apple TV, or Roku device, you should be able to view worship on your TV. If you'd like assistance in that regard, please email or call the church office to speak to Rev. Dwylene Butler.
- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sixthmountzion/ - we're also live on Pastor Nelson's page, but we encourage members to connect with each other on YouTube or Facebook...and start a watch party to increase our influence.
- Periscope: Our user name is "smzbc_rva". This posts to Twitter when the live video ends.
- On Facebook, YouTube, or Periscope - Let us know you are watching by saying "Good Morning"...that's our virtual welcome & fellowship period. We also encourage you to post sermon notes.
- Audio Only: Call our conference line (804-203-9011). If you use this option, PLEASE mute your phone. You may not hear it, but the background noise and feedback is a big distraction to others.
Class of 2020 Graduate Recognition: We know this is not the celebration you deserve, but we want to shout out those members of our church who graduated from High School, College, or Graduate School. Click here to complete the form by June 21st. Details on how we'll honor you to follow.
Scholarship Application: Members of the Mount who are pursuing higher education are encouraged to complete the 2020 Scholarship Application to be considered for the Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church scholarship, along with a number of endowed scholarships. Click here to complete the form by June 21st. Reminder Mount Members: We need your donations to our regular scholarship fund so that we can continue to aid our students.
Quarantine Check-in Calls: It is my desire to personally speak to each Mount Member during this time that we are unable to see each other. So, you may be contacted to schedule a 5-10 minute call or, hopefully starting this week, we'll send out a link for members to choose the time that works best for them. When your meeting is scheduled, we will simply ask you to call our Conference Line number at the appointed time.
Maximizing Mental Health in Trying Times: This Wednesday at 12:00 PM, join Dr. Jessica Y. Brown (our member and author of "Making SPACE at the Well: Mental Health and the Church") for an important dialogue. We will be on Facebook, YouTube, and Periscope. The session will replay at 6:30 PM with a live chat.

Your Continued Financial Support is Needed: We understand that your financial situation may not allow you to do so at this point. However, if you are able to do so, we encourage you to give whatever you can, whenever you can. We have several options available for you...
- Drop Off at the Church: Tomorrow from 9:00a - 11:00a OR during Church Office Hours OR Anytime using the mail dropbox, On Sunday morning, you can bring your tithes and offerings to the church and a Trustee will be present to receive them. We will also have envelopes available for you to complete to ensure you get proper credit. Just make sure you have your name written on the envelope and what the money is for.
